Founder and CEO
Scott is a pioneer in the use of visual information mapping by organizations for use in wide ranging business challenges, and led the development of Maga Design's proprietary process to creating physical and virtual representations of collective strategic thinking: Maga Maps
Scott combines 15 years of Navy technical and business innovation experience with commercial marketing and brand strategy acumen. He’s worked with clients including Navy ERP, NAVAIR, IBM, Northrop Grumman, QinetiQ, and Think Remarkable.com, the platform created to launch The Big Moo, Seth Godin’s first collective book.
Rebecca Cook Williams
Vice President, Chief Creative Officer
Rebecca oversees Maga Design’s creative studio and information design practice, pushing the organization to apply whole-brain, systems thinking in all aspects of Maga’s work. She believes in leading by doing, digging deep into the content to communicate through complexity using our greatest asset - design.
She has worked with clients including US Postal Service, Pepsico International, US Navy, and National Geographic. Her experience includes working in a fast-paced, high-volume instructional design organization, overseeing the development of web-based and instructor-led training materials for civilian and defense agencies.
Vice President, Chief Financial Officer
Gil brings over twenty years of Business Management experience to Maga. Formerly Chief Financial Officer for a Washington, DC Strategic Communications firm and a Business Process Consultant for Arthur Andersen Accounting Firm. Gil has extensive experience in operations, management, organizational marketing, human resources, accounting and finance.
Gil is responsible for financial reporting, back office management, human resources, benefit administration, staff development and corporate oversight.
Chief Technology Officer
Bruce comes to Maga with over 20 years of experience delivering resilient and innovative solutions to multiple enterprise-level IT organizations. He has a background that includes technical architecture, enterprise operations, solution design, web and database development, requirements analysis, hosting/ systems administration, and network management.
Bruce is responsible for Maga's technical strategy and investments, aligning best-fit technology to the Maga systems model, Maga Interactive offerings and technical operations.
Director of Graphic Recording
Jim Nuttle brings to Maga over thirty years' experience as an independent graphic artist living and working in the Washington area. He collaborates with government, corporate and non-profit clients to produce simple, effective visuals that communicate with insight and humor. His illustrations have appeared in a number of national publications. For the past six years Jim has applied his talents in the field of Graphic Recording, a technique of visually capturing ideas and concepts -- in real-time -- that is the cornerstone of the Maga process. This work has taken him throughout the US and abroad to work closely with top leaders in government and Fortune 500 companies.
Jim works with Maga and Maga clients as the Senior Graphic Recorder, overseeing the graphic recording team, and as a consultant on design and visualization.

Susan L. Dyer
Susan L. Dyer provides IT Transformation Services -- Strategy, Consulting, Coaching -- for IT Executives and their leadership teams. She has over 30 years of experience as a recognized leader and expert in IT strategy, design, development and delivery of large-scale business and scientific systems. Dyer (formerly Keen) was a member of the Federal Government Senior Executive Service. She held positions in the US Navy including Technical Director for the Navy ERP Program and Chief Information Office for the Naval Air Systems Command. Her contributions include leading the technical development and delivery of the Navy’s ERP system, the foundation for the Navy’s logistics and financial business integration and transformation. This system is one of the largest SAP implementations in the world. She also served as Program Manager for major programs including modernizing scientific and engineering computing networks, developing and delivering on business strategies to reduce costs while providing IT interconnectivity and collaboration services for large organizations, and employing branding techniques to achieve effective organizational design and alignment.
Ms. Dyer was honored in 2008 with the Government Computer News Technology Leadership Award and in 2009 with the Women in Technology Leadership Award featuring her in a book entitled No One Path: Perspectives on Leadership from a Decade of Women in Technology Award Winners.
Susan works with Maga and Maga clients on IT transformation, organizational alignment and executive coaching.
Advisor and Subject-matter Expert
Brooke Smith is a Managing Director at Xerox Corporation focused on global accounts. Previously, he led Business Development and Corporate Strategy for QinetiQ North America, a government services acquisition role comprised of 15 acquisitions. At QinetiQ, Brooke was instrumental in developing the integration plans and restructuring of the $1.5B North American operations. Prior to this, he was the Chief Operating Officer at TKC Communications in Fairfax, VA, where he was recruited to turn around TKC’s business operations and implement business process change to restructure the growth of the business. With 30 years of experience, Brooke has developed a balanced and successful business model with a focus on win-win and a customer-first orientation.
Brooke works with Maga on governance, and creating growth and organizational performance.
Advisor and Subject-matter Expert
With a background in banking, finance and technology, Jay Davis runs a business consulting practice that works with owners of small to mid-sized businesses across several industries to help them grow sales and increase profits. His prior life includes 10 years as a banker in Texas, and 20 years at EDS, which included working with community and regional banks throughout the United States, helping them to leverage technology in order to streamline operations and grow market share. Jay spent seven more years with EDS in Hong Kong with local Asian businesses and governments to help them become more competitive, increase revenue and improve operational efficiencies.
Jay works with Maga and Maga clients on global account development, program management, technology transformation and post-merger integration.
Vice Admiral Joseph W. Dyer
(U.S. Navy, Ret.) - Advisor and Subject-matter Expert
Joe Dyer is Chief Strategy Officer at iRobot where he oversees strategic business development, mergers and acquisitions, research and advanced technology development. Previously, he served as COO and President of the Government and Industrial Robots division. Dyer came to iRobot in 2003 from a career in the U.S. Navy. He last served as the Commander of the Naval Air Systems Command, where he was responsible for research, development, test and evaluation, engineering and logistics for naval aircraft, air launched weapons and sensors. Dyer’s naval career also included positions as naval aviation's chief engineer, commander of the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division and F/A-18 program manager. Earlier in his career, he served as the Navy's chief test pilot. Dyer holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in finance from the Naval Postgraduate School. He is an elected fellow in the Society of Experimental Test Pilots and the National Academy of Public Administration. Dyer chairs NASA's Aerospace Safety Advisory Panel.
Joe works with Maga on technology, innovation and federal strategy.
Advisor and Subject-matter Expert
Micheline’s professional career includes 13 years of Government service with the Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and over 25 years of systems engineering and technical management implementing major Enterprise Systems. Formerly Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Chief Operations Officer (COO) for iLuMinA Solutions Corporation until 31 August 2012 when the Company was acquired by ECS-Federal Inc. As the CFO/COO, she provided financial leadership to manage iLuMinA Solutions in the best interest of its shareholders and provided operational leadership in setting the Mission, Vision, Principles, Values, Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan of the Company. Micheline has extensive experience in business operations, accounting and finance, and technical management. Currently, she continues to support ECS-Federal in the leadership role of Vice President of the ERP Division.
Micheline advises Maga on contracting strategies, on-going Company business and strategy, and pipeline development.
Sales and New Business Advisor
Bob Carter is Vivisimo’s Vice President and General Manager, Federal. In this capacity, Bob oversees all business development, sales and operations for Vivisimo in the public sector. Bob joined Vivisimo after serving as Vice President of Federal Operations at Network General Corporation, acquired by NetScout Systems in November 2007. During his tenure at Network General Corporation, he led and grew a $40+ million dollar federal practice with a year-over-year revenue growth of more than 50 percent. Prior to Network General, he oversaw the public sector practice at Plumtree Software, where he doubled the public sector business every 2 years with more than a 45 percent growth each year in a highly competitive market.
Bob works with Maga on pipeline development, sales training and Federal contracting strategies.
Advisor and Subject-matter Expert
Cameron Hamilton is a Principal of The McLean Group and has been involved in more than 25 successful sell- and buy-side M&A and capital formation engagements. Currently, he focuses on serving federal contracting clients. Before joining The McLean Group, Mr. Hamilton led the consulting division responsible for strategic business process analysis and return-on-investment opportunity valuation at ClearCross, Inc., a leading international trade compliance software vendor. He also was the primary financial analyst supporting ClearCross' multiple acquisitions and capital raises. Cameron holds an AB in economics from Princeton University, where he was a member of nationally ranked varsity swimming and water polo teams.
Cameron works with Maga on capital requirements, investment and growth strategy.
